Yamaha Motor -Aid for Philippines Post Typhoon

IWATA, November 14, 2013 - Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd (Tokyo: 7272) announced today a provision of aid, and the following comments for the Philippines after the recent devastation caused by Typhoon Haiyan.

Yamaha Motor would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

In conjunction with our motorcycle manufacturing and sales subsidiary, Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc., we are pledging a total of 10 million yen in aid to assist the affected region.

The aid will include drinking water and food, as well as generators and monetary contributions, and is being prepared for delivery with all haste.
