Reports appearing in certain Japanese media on February 7, 2009 concerning the forecast consolidated financial results of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (the "Company") for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2009 (Fiscal 2009) are not based on any official announcements by the Company.
The Company plans to officially announce its forecast consolidated financial results for fiscal 2009 with the announcement of the financial results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2008. The announcement is scheduled on February 12, 2009.
