Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. announces the following organizational and personnel changes, effective January 1, 2008. |

1. Organizational changes |
1) |
The functions of the Advertising Division will be transferred to the Public Relations Division. (Previously, the two divisions were separate and independent.) The new organization will be known as the Public Relations Division. Integrating public relations and advertising in this way is designed to promote smoother communication within the company, and between the company and external entities, including its markets. The new Public Relations Division can plan and manage communications more comprehensively. |

2) |
The status of the Service Group within Overseas Market Development Operations (OMDO) will be elevated, and the group will now be called the Service & Promotion Division. The former Service Group functioned under the direct control of the Senior General Manager of OMDO. This upgrade is intended to help strengthen its promotion and sales support capabilities. |
