(3) Reason The forecast revision was made due to expected increases in revenues for both the consolidated and non-consolidated compared to the initial forecast figures as a result of such factors as increased sales of surface mounters in Japan and Southeast Asia and strong business results for consolidated subsidiaries in the U.S. and other regions. Explanation of the fiscal year Business Forecast will be made at the time of announcement of the Mid-term Business Results, planned for mid-November. |
